Adefisoye Azeez Ademola popularly as Demmy, with NYSC registration Number DT/21C/2841 was posted to carry out his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme in Deen Foundation school, Uvwei Local Government Area, Delta state.
Adefisoye Azeez was a graduate of University of Ilorin, while in his undergraduate he served in many positions like The President of Federation of Ibadan Students Union, FIBSU, Director General of Department of Adult and Primary Education and many more.
When he was sent to a primary school in Uvwei Local Government Area (LGA) as his place for primary assignment (PPA), he had the idea to carry out a community service project, to provide writing materials for the pupils. This one of the numerous projects he eventually execute before his service year end in 2022.
The community service project is a year-round affair through which corps members work with the local communities to promote self-reliance by systematically prospecting and executing development projects and programmes that positively impact the socio-economic development of the host communities.
As obtained by our correspondent at Osun The Positive Voice, 11 projects were executed and delivered by RT. Hon Adefisoye Azeez, among them is the reconstruction and renovation of his host (Uvwei LGA) billboard and NYSC billboard.
Continuing in his community project service , he donated billboard banner, school flag, Nigeria flag, painting of school flag, including poles and ropes host them to his PPA (Deen Foundation school).
Our correspondent gathered that, Mr. Adefisoye extended the community service to 9 others schools both primary and secondary namely:
Deen Foundation school (Secondary), Ogbeh Secondary school (Urhobo College Warri, Ekpan secondary school, Alegbo secondary school, Ugboroke Primary School, Alegbo Primary School, Ekpan Basic Secondary school, PETWAS Nursery and Primary school.
We gathered that in Adefisoye distributed School bags, School and writing materials such as Notebooks, Mathematics set, and pen in the 10 schools. The aims of this is to make learning more easier for the less privileged students. Adefisoye don’t stop his personal projects there, he also present instructional materials for the participated schools, for their teachers to make use of in other to enhance effective teaching and learning activities.
Mr. Adefisoye appreciate his host school (Deen Foundation school) for their support and cooperation, therefore laud the schools management of participated schools for their utmost cooperation and warm welcome.
He therefore extends his appreciation to his host Local Government and acknowledged the support of people that makes the projects achievable.
